McIntyre Library Construction Update

New furniture arrived on Wednesday for the new 24-hour study space in the breezeway between Old Library and Schofield (where the vending machines are). The furniture has temporarily been installed in the library Grand Corridor as we await installation of carpet in the new space.

Richardson Electric is beginning today to do some of the electrical work associated with the reconfiguration of the stacks on the fifth floor. There is a small portion of the stacks (on the southeast facing Phillips lot) that will be without light for a few days as we move the shelving units and shift onto them. There's a good chance that there will not be lights in that particular area again until early next week.
